DAY 1
ARRIVAL TMC – BONDO KAPUMBU VILLAGE – SALT FARMER VISIT – LENDONGARA HILL SUNSET
Upon Arrival in TMC Airport , meet and greet with the driver and guide. Then we go to your resort for check – in and lunch.
After lunch, we will star a visit to Bondo Kapumbu village in the Karuni area, where you will meet the locals, learn about their culture, and see traditional Sumbanese houses. Here we will see the traditional high-roofed houses, made all by hand and traditionally. Then we will continue our trip to Katewel Beach, a hidden beach in south-west Sumba, where you can find the local farmers making salt in a traditional way. Then we go to the museum of Rumah Budaya Sumba (Sumba’s cultural center), but before that, we go to a local restaurant for lunch. It was built in the style of a traditional Sumbanese house, and the surrounding grounds are dotted with Marapu stone carvings. Among other artifacts, the collection includes ikat, stone and wood carvings, traditional jewelry, and a handful of everyday items you can find here. After the museum, we go to Lendongara Hill to enjoy the beautiful sunset. There is a spot where you can see the view of Sumba from above and the sea in the distance.

DAY 2
WAIKELO SAWAH – WAIKACURA RICE FIELD – PRAIJING VILLAGE – LAPOPU WATERFALL
After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up and take you to Waikelo Sawah to do trekking along the beautiful ricefield view of Sumba Island. During the trek, locals may be found doing farmer activities, and there is a natural spring of water in the cave, a beautiful view of the river, and a small waterfall at the end of the trek. Then we go to the local restaurant for having lunch. After lunch we go to the beautiful village; Praijing village. This village is built on top of a hill, and if you want to walk through the entire village, you actually have to walk down the hill. You will have an overview of the entire village at the entrance. On top of that, the inhabitants of the village built a spot where you can have a panoramic view of the village and beyond. The village is also surrounded by the beautiful nature of Sumba.
Next on our adventure will be the LaPopu Waterfall. After a drive through the endless hilly and green landscape of Sumba, you will arrive near the waterfall. To visit the waterfall, you will need to do a short hike of approximately 15 minutes and cross a bamboo bridge to get there. There is a nice spot to sit down where you can watch the water find its way down the hill. You can also bring your swimming clothes to take a dive in the water just in front of the big waterfall.

DAY 3
SUMBA CULTURAL HOUSE – TALASI ESTATE TO TRY SUMBANESE COFFEE OR CASHEW MILK – OUT TMC AIRPORT
After your breakfast and check out process, depending on your flight schedule time, our driver and guide will pick you up at the hotel to go to the airport to catch your flight to the next destination. But before that , we will visit Sumba Cultural House and Talasi Estate Factory to try Sumbanese Cashew Milk or Sumbanese coffee. Thank you for exploring Sumba with us.
